Some achievements
Faro
SunMind developed, financed and built its first photovoltaic power plant in Faro (Portugal) in 2022. The electricity produced is consumed by the airport operated by VINCI Airports, via a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) which covers around 30% of its demand.
- TYPE : Ground-mounted solar plant
- POWER : 3 MWp
- CONTRACT : Direct sale of electricity to ANA (Faro airport operating company, subsidiary of VINCI Airports)
Lyon
SunMind co-developed and financed a solar power plant at Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport. This 20MWp solar carport power plant is installed in the airport’s parking lots and will be commissioned by May 2025 . This project was selected by the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) and will benefit from a long-term guaranteed tariff for the electricity produced.
- TYPE : Solar carport power plant
- POWER : 20 MWp
- CONTRACT : Premium/CfD tariff (government-backed long term contracted revenue)
Toulon
At Toulon-Hyères Airport, SunMind developed a solar carport power plant installed on the P3 parking lot and managed every stage of the project: financing, design, construction and operation. Since March 2024, the energy produced is directly consumed by the airport to meet its daily needs, and the surplus fed back into the regional electricity grid.
- TYPE : Solar carport power plant
- POWER : 500 kWp
- CONTRACT : Provision of electricity to the SEATH (Toulon Hyères Airport Operating Company)
Clérac
SunMind oversaw the implementation of a photovoltaic power plant, from design to operation, at the maintenance base of the South Europe Atlantic Tours-Bordeaux high-speed rail line in Clérac. We also provided the project’s financing. Since April 2025, 100% of the electricity produced is being fed into the distribution grid.
- TYPE : Solar carports
- POWER : 500 kWp
- CONTRAT : Injection into the grid
Morocco
VINCI Concessions’ renewable energy division is developing a major wind power project in Morocco to support the growth of renewable energy and the country’s energy transition. This 360 MW wind farm, scheduled to be commissioned before the end of 2026, will power a major seawater desalination plant and contribute to the supply of electricity to the national grid.
- TYPE : Wind farm
- POWER : 360 MW
- CONTRACT:Corporate PPA and injection into the public electricity network
